7/19 - Delicatessen
Wednesday (7/19) we’ll be screening French dark comedy Delicatessen from 1991, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, it tells the story of a butcher who hires Louison, an unemployed circus clown, unaware of the sinister fate that awaits him in the building's peculiar community.
This movie was selected by Nick:
I picked Delicatessen cause I feel like it’ll be a fun summer movie to watch with a bunch of friends. It’s so bizarre and wonderful. It filled me with all sorts of emotions when I first saw it and I’m eager to see what others think.
Delicatessen will be playing at Working Room Wednesday, July 19. Doors will open at 7:30 PM and the movie will begin promptly at 8:00 PM! RSVP is not required but is always appreciated.
