3/15 - I Was at Home, But . . .
This Wednesday (3/15) we’ll be screening I Was at Home, But . . . from 2019, a German drama written and directed by Angela Schanelec. The film follows a conflict between a mother and teachers after a 13-year-old returns home after being missing for a week.
This movie was chosen by lovely Matt:
Quiet, calculated, mysterious. Beautifully shot, a refined work by one of my favorite directors. Not all questions get answers. Calmly challenging.
I Was at Home, But . . . will be playing at Working Room at 7:30 PM Wednesday (March 15).
RSVP is not required, but always appreciated. Email me if you need the address! PS: For those who haven’t joined for the more informal screenings, while we have chairs, most people choose to bring blankets and pillows to watch slumber party style on the floor.
