Monday (2/5), we’ll be screening black comedy Serial Mom (1994), written and directed by John Waters, starring Kathleen Turner.

I saw this movie for the first time just a month ago at Christmastime with my Mom, and Grandpa who I think was kind of scandalized by it. But I was laughing the whole way through and couldn’t wait to watch it again! I’m not one for movies that only aim for comedy but John Waters created the perfect blend of camp, surreality and humor I think. I hope it makes you smile as much as I did.
Serial Mom will be playing at Working Room on Monday, February 5th (tomorrow!). Doors will open at 7:30 PM and the movie will begin promptly at 8:00 PM!
